CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) Fun lesson learning essential safety skills

Provisional Moped/Motorcycle Entitlement. Mandatory Legal requirement for those wishing to ride a Moped or Motorcycle on a Provisional licence (Displaying ’L’ plates, No Passenger’s or Motorway’s) or wishing to pursue training towards the Practical Motorcycle Test. CBT involves various Road Safety chats, Car park lesson and a 2 hour Road Ride under supervision. This is not a test, however candidates must be successful in achieving all elements of the CBT and completing a 2 hour road ride. If at the end of the day your instructor deems you to have reached a safe standard you will receive a DL196 Certificate. This gives Provisional Motorcycle or Moped entitlement. 16 year olds restricted to 50cc Mopeds (Provisional Licence category C). Over 16’s restricted to 125cc, until a Practical Motorcycle Test is taken. (Provisional Licence category A). If students are not successful in completing the Cbt course during the days training then there will be a charge of £60 to repeat the day. If only the ‘Road Ride’  is needed, this is £40. If however the course is cancelled at any point during the day because of mechanical failure then there will be no charge incurred.

PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW:

These terms should be read and construed as forming an agreement between yourself and RoadRider School of Motorcycling Ltd.

1.  You MUST have both parts of your Driving Licence (Photocard & Paper Counterpart) Sensible clothing (Denims & Boots). DO NOT wear Tracksuit & Trainers!

2.  All fees shall be paid in advance of each course/lesson.

3. In the event of mechanical breakdown or other cause, RoadRider reserves the right to re-arrange/rebook  any course at the earliest convenient time.

4. If the student fails to give sufficient notice cancelling any course/lesson then the deposit will be lost. (We feel one week is reasonable notice).

5. It is a Legal requirement that a valid UK driving licence be shown for CBT. Photocard and Counterpart must be present. The lesson will not continue without the students licence present and no refund will be given.

6. If the student is unable to attend or cancels the course or is unable to complete any course for any reason other than default on the part of RoadRider, no refund will be given in respect of said course.

7. RoadRider accepts no liability for any claim, loss, damage or expense arising out of acts/omissions of RoadRider, its employees/agents.

These Tems & Conditions must be adhered to. The course cannot go ahead if these Conditions are not met. You WILL NOT receive a refund if you do not obey these Terms.
